3. Orders and Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Given the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of secondhand furniture, items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unavailability of items.

4. Pricing and Taxes
All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

5. Shipping
We currently ship to addresses within the United States.
Estimated delivery times are 5–8 business days, provided as an estimate — actual delivery times may vary.
Ownership and risk of loss transfer to you once the item is delivered to the carrier.

6. Returns and Refunds

Note that due to the inherent characteristics of secondhand items, our return policy is specific and limited.
By placing an order, you expressly agree to the terms of that policy, which include the condition that items must be returned in their original, undamaged condition.

7. Return Requirements
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: The product must be unused, undamaged, and in the original condition, with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all shipping materials.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order confirmation email, order number, or return request is required.
  • Unprocessed Items: If the item is returned before being processed for shipment, we may require additional steps to facilitate the return.

8. Shipping Delays
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carrier issues, weather, or other uncontrollable factors.
If your order experiences unexpected delays, we will notify you by email and provide updates on the progress.

9. Shipping Address and Lost Packages

  • Shipping Address: You must provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses will not be made by us, and any returned packages may be reshipped at the customer's expense.
  • Lost or Damaged Items:
    If the item arrives damaged or is lost during transit, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@velvetgoldmine.us.
    Please provide your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.
    We will review your claim and offer a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
